Ingredients

  • 1 large raw banana
  • 2 medium potato (peeled and cubed)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (or olive oil)
  • a pinch salt
  • a pinch pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the cubed potatoes in water until tender, about 10-12 minutes.
  2. While potatoes are cooking, peel and slice the banana.
  3. Drain the potatoes and mash them in a bowl.
  4. Add the banana slices, butter, salt, and pepper; mash together until smooth and creamy.
  5. Serve warm as a side dish or a standalone meal.
