Ingredients

  • 2 medium carrots (peeled and chopped)
  • 2 medium potatoes (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the carrots and potatoes in a pot of salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Drain the vegetables and return to the pot.
  3. Add butter and milk, then mash until smooth.
  4. Serve warm.
