Ingredients
- 2 medium carrots (peeled and chopped)
- 2 medium potatoes (peeled and chopped)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
Instructions
- Boil the carrots and potatoes in a pot of salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the vegetables and return to the pot.
- Add butter and milk, then mash until smooth.
- Serve warm.
