Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup semolina ((fine) )
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (or honey to taste)
  • 1 medium apple (peeled and grated)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add semolina and roast until golden brown, stirring continuously.
  3. Slowly add milk while stirring to avoid lumps.
  4. Add sugar (or honey) and mix until dissolved.
  5. Stir in grated apple and cardamom powder, cooking until the mixture thickens.
  6. Serve warm, topped with chopped nuts if desired.
